The unsexy use case of Google Glass

Imagine that you are a firefighter and need additional intelligence to guide you through a disaster site; say you need to see an overlay floor plan or understand where the rest of the team is, while you progress. Imagine that you are police officer and that you walk up to a car you just pulled over: what if you could read a license plate and get real time information about the car’s latest status, it’s owner and licensed drivers? Finally, what if you are a bank teller and could look at a banknote through Google Glass to decipher if it was fake?

I know none of these scenarios are sexy but they help save lives, reduce fraud and augment our reality. That is the promise Big Data has.
